We arrived in Reykjavik this afternoon, the last stop on our trip. We'll be here until Sunday. Is there anyone who follows this blog who would be interested in having a beer Saturday night? It would be great to meet up with some locals.

I found a large book store in Maastricht that had a very large selection of secondhand books. I shot a few of them on the shelf.I wish I had more time to look. Translations or other insights are welcome. More tomorrow.

I've been in Maastricht for the last three days. I've been on the look out for interesting design, although I have yet to locate a used book store.
A poster, for what, I don't know.
Cover for the Dutch translation of Gary Shteyngart's Super Sad True Love Story
Wall of speakers in a clothing store, the clothes weren't as cool as the speakers
Perhaps the world's most impressive bookstore/cafe Selexyz Dominicanen. It's in a 13th century Cathedral.

I'm in London, on the first leg of my European trip. I returned to a book store that I used to frequent when I lived here fifteen years ago and found that all the books in the basement are 50p apiece, I don't know if I should start digging into this or not... The third and fourth images are from the model building shop of an architectural firm, incredible stuff to look at in every direction.

I've been super busy preparing for a month of traveling, I also got some terrible stomach bug that knocked me out for a few days. I won't be back to regular Daily Book Graphics blogging until April 1st but I will hopefully be posting book and design related posts from my travels. I'm in New York at the moment, I have a set of books in a group show at Black & White Gallery in Williamsburg. There a few new ones, including the three below.
On Tuesday I'm leaving on a European trip that will include London, Maastricht, Metz, Paris and Reykjavik. I'm sure I will find some books along the way.
