Daily Book Graphics #17 / Book of Alphabets

This is a small (5x7.5", 72 pages) type specimen book published in 1953 (reprinted in 1959). It only has has fifty or so faces and as it says on the back cover: "This little book has no pretensions. It is a book of specimen alphabets for use by all those engaged in the production of good lettering for whatever purpose."

Daily Book Graphics #12 / Akizidenz Grotesk

These are graphics from a type specimen/promotional booklet for Bertold Akzidenz Grotesk (I think there is a more accurate term for this type of publication but I can't think of it right now). There is no date in the booklet but the Wikipedia entry on the font suggests that it might be from around 1973.
