I'm back from my bicycle trip. I took the train from Buffalo to Albany and then cycled from there to Amherst - Concord - Boston - Providence - New Haven - New York. The ride ended up being exactly 500 miles, with two 100 plus days. There basically are no flat parts of New England as far as I can tell. I was going either up or down for the entire ride.
