Scenes from a Staycation

We didn't go anywhere or do anything vacation oriented this summer, we are saving our time and resources for a trip to visit my sister and brother-in-law in the Netherlands some time in the winter. Below are a few pictures I took over the summer.

Daily Book Graphics #200 / Grenadine

This is a pretty self serving DBG post, since I designed this cover and I have posted about it before (but not as part of the Daily Book Graphics project). I was happy to receive the finished book in the mail from Yale University Press last week. It's for my friend Neil Wechsler's play Grenadine. Grenadine won the Edward Albee judged Yale Drama Series Prize for Emerging Playwrights last year. The play opens in Buffalo at Road Less Traveled Productions Friday night. We are going on Saturday. I've seen two staged readings of the play, so I'm excited to see the full stage production. If you live in Western New York you have to go.
