In 12 days I am getting on a plane and flying to Tokyo. This will be my first trip to Japan or anywhere else in Asia, I am very excited. I will spend three weeks as the guest artist in an English language elementary school. I'm staying with a friend from Buffalo who teaches at the school. The only downside is that this trip comes during an extremely busy three month period. I have a tremendous amount of work to do for my June 5th Chelsea show, and I may very well have a big project happening in May. But I don't want to complain, these are good problems to have.

Countdown to Japan
