Daily Book Graphics #15 / Four Painters Catalogue
This is a catalogue for the 1971 show Four Painters: Conlon, Cote, Hacklin, Rafoss at the Dallas Museum of Fine Arts. I assume that all four painters were NY based, justifying the "NY4" of the design. I bought this at an Albright Knox house cleaning sale a couple of years ago. The cover is the only interesting element, most of the abstract paintings on the inside are printed in black and white. The design is very Max Huber-esque (maybe Max Huber rip-off is a better way to describe it). Design: James A. Ledbetter
