Daily Book Graphics #1260

©1972, revised edition 1973 / This is my father's book from the time that he was making films and teaching film in the early seventies. The blue lines on the black graphic are his markings and not part of the design.

Among the notes stuffed into the book is the one below in which my father has written out the time and place of a Students for McGovern Meeting to Organize for final weeks of Campaign. This was from October of 1972, a year ahead of the publication of this edition of the book. It must have been stuck in there at some later point as a bookmark.

A Powder Coat Resurrection

I recently had an old bike of mine powder coated, it is a fairly cheap way to feel like you have a new bike. This is now my winter bike, set up with mustache bars, and a 3-speed coaster brake hub and long aluminum fenders.

The Full State of America Print Series Now Available

In September I was commissioned to create a series of prints for Print Collection. We decided that the subject would be the official insignia of the American states which includes a surprisingly diverse collection of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, grasses, trees, fossils, minerals, insects and more. Back on November 5th we released the first installment of the State of America print series. I have now completed the other 29 states and they are available on PrintCollection.com
