This 1974 book is in the same Red Cross series as the First Aid book that I featured in DBG #47. I think the illustrations are a brilliantly effective use of two-color printing. There is something disturbing in the matter-of-fact depiction of terrifying situations. More disturbing is that when taken out of context, these images can start to feel like depictions of strange acts of sexual violence.
